rated 97/100 by Huon Hooke on The Real Review

Deep red colour with a good purple tint. The bouquet is blackberry and cassis-like, with blueberry and violet overtones, the palate concentrated and powerful yet also super-refined and gorgeously elegant. Voluminous flavour and great length, immaculate balance. A delicious, totally superb wine. (88% cabernet franc, 7% merlot, 5% cabernet sauvignon)

EVERYTHING IS GOING ACCORDING TO PLAN - Chardonnay BLD 2016

rated 96/100 by Huon Hooke on The Real Review

Medium-yellow colour, with an ultra-complex bouquet of buttery, toasty, roasted-nut and honey nuances. The palate is tremendously detailed and Burgundy-like with a myriad of flavours, it's fleshy and rich, with mild acidity and great softness. A deliciously exotic, multi-faceted chardonnay.

SORRY FOR THE SLOW REPLY - Rosé BLD 2016

rated 95/100 by Huon Hooke on The Real Review

Light purple-tinged pink colour; youthful and bright. The aromas are fresh and grapy with some berry and herb nuances, while the palate is intense and fresh, dry and crisp, with very good flavour concentration and length. The finish is bone-dry and taut, firm, long-lingering. A rosé with unusual power and drive.
